Hitters vs. Diggers Drill and Hut to Five Drill. Great series of drills that work on numerous skills for all levels of volleyball players.
Hitters vs. diggers volleyball drill is a great drill for reading the game and helping your defenders become better at reading attackers arm swings. We have also included and explanation of the drill from the conversation from the office.
Hut to Five volleyball drill – Is a drill run early in the season to help middles with their eye sequence and to help them have better technique and make better moves when they block. Additionally it is a great drill for outside hitters to work on attacking as well as for defense to work on defending the outside attack.
Outside Hitter Tutor Volleyball Drills – This drill works on specific needs of your outside hitters. Note we have included the conversation from the office where Tom discusses this drill in detail.
Middle Hitter Tutor Volleyball Drills – This drill works on specific needs for the middle. In this case the setter and the middles were not connecting on a fast set so they adjusted the set slightly higher so that they connected better.

Practice Plan #2 – Part 1 – Practice introduction and warm up. This includes several videos including: Andor and Tom discussing practice, plus all the warm up skill drills for the practice.
Practice Plan #2 – Serving and Passing. The focus is on passing, seeing the line, creating the angle. On serving, again the jump float serve and getting movement and follow through on contact.
Practice Plan #2 – Part 3 of 3 – Wash drill with a serve and off target free ball. Again this drill is to run through rotations where Tom thinks the team may be weak as well as to reinforce some the tutors that the players worked on earlier in the weak.

This is a hitting lines drills with a slight twist. All sets must come off a live pass so as to make it more game like. This is another good warm up drill that builds multiple skills.
This series of videos is on the LMU 50 passing and serving drill. The goal for the passers is to get 50 passes rated a 3 or 4. In this series of videos you will also see the teams and coaching staffs focus on the jump float serve and its effectiveness as a serve in volleyball. Also how the coaching staff uses the radar gun.
