Tom Black doing a wash drill with a serve and a free ball. The free ball is an off target free ball forcing the setter and offense to work on transition. This drill is run before a match to work on specific rotations and also work on team transition from a bad pass or dig.
Waves Video 1 – One side serves until there is a side out. Free ball is sent to the libero who purposely makes a bad pass left or right to practice off plays
Waves Video 2 – Tom builds up intensity and energy by telling players to talk it up and be loud for outside hits in transition, hitters yell where they are and setters be mad if you don’t hear the hitters
Waves Video 3 – Different angles from the court and the stands
Waves Video 4 – Note libero does not move much on 50-50 free ball and passes left or right on purpose
