Explosive speed and strength is a winning combination. Alicia has an entire series of beach volleyball drills to get to the ball quicker.
1. Takeoff gets the fast twitch muscles heated up and moving right now.
2. Pop Up brings the player up off the ground and covering the entire court.
3. Three Point Lunge uses a medicine ball to build up leg strength and speed.
4. Horseshoe will challenge balance and co-ordination.
5. Turn and Burn is done by every one. This is Alicia’s favorite way to do it.
6. Quick Feet means just that, using the sand and several different movements to make the player quick as a cat.
