SJVC Travel Team Try-Outs Dates: July 14, 15, 21, 22, 2025.
We offer two club travel team options, Gold and Elite. SJVC Teams run from August 2025 – May 2026.
(*Elite Teams Attend AAU Orlando Nationals in June 2026)
Teams are selected in July, 2025.
Players train from August 2025 (school start is Aug. 11, 2025) to May 2026 unless they make the middle school team. In this case, players do not attend practices in September and October during middle school season.

From the very beginning we have had an excellent result! Our daughter has benefited immensely. I highly recommend Volleyball 1-on-1 St. Johns Volleyball Club! Coach Andor knows his stuff and runs an excellent program. He has experience at the highest levels of competitive volleyball. But it’s not just what he teaches it’s how he connects with the kids. It’s all about first learning and improving volleyball skills, but also about building social skills, meeting new friends and having fun. Players get individualized attention to help advance their volleyball skills. They work in small groups with one or more skilled coaches and as well as get pulled aside to work on technique. Then they play 1-on-1 or 2-on-2 to maximize “touches” with the ball (those who do not play competitively yet). Coach Andor and Coach Vanessa are very inspirational and encouraging in their “team” talks and very supportive in helping your player meet their personal goals.
This is an amazing league!! Our 10yr old daughter has trained with other organizations both in Detroit + Jacksonville. By far, SJVC is the most rewarding, motivating, and organized program we’ve worked with. While others have been good, Coach Andor makes this experience…GREAT. He and his team really care about each player’s individual growth and continued love of the sport. As a parent, my favorite part is the “life lesson” discussion at the end of each practice. This a special organization and one I would highly reco!

My daughter is a committed D1 beach volleyball player who plays at the highest levels here in Florida (in both junior and adult) and across the country in Junior tournaments. She is also part of the USAV national team development program. Coach Andor’s training has elevated her game to new levels. His approach to point play is highly advanced and beneficial to players who aspire to play at the highest level. At the same time he keeps it fun. He will push your athlete hard to their highest level- sometimes it’s a tough journey but Coach Andor is there during that journey with support.
Having moved from NY last summer, my daughter had zero volleyball experience. But she really wanted to learn, so we joined Volleyball One on One.She had a great experience and training at this organization. She learned so much about the sport, had a great time in the process and experienced great skill training.

He empowers these girls to be the best they can be, on the volleyball court and in life. Each coaching session has an important lesson attached such as working as a team, asking for what you want, and learning from your mistakes. So far so great! Mr. Andor Gyulai and his coaches are so professional and great with the kids. My daughter love training volleyball with them. She started in March, came from MI where she didn’t like volleyball trainings at all. After her the first class with Andor and his team, she loves it! Their energy and knowledge is fantastic! Andor is amazing and so energetic! I would always recommend him and his team! You have to see them in action to know how great they are! I would always recommend them!
My daughter just started this summer and loves the experience. Coach Andor is very motivational and great coach for the sports and life skills. Self discipline and having a goal in mind as well as his expertise and years of experience in coaching will definitely benefit the players.
Andor is an amazing coach. His attitude and energy while teaching are contagious. My daughter started volleyball in January and is so much better than when she started. She continues to improve under the guidance of the many great coaches here.

We started going to Saint John’s Volleyball Club back in November and my 12-year old daughter’s volleyball game has already improved greatly. I love Andor’s coaching style. It is a very motivating and positive environment for the kids. He and his staff first worked with my daughter to determine where she needed to improve and then they immediately started doing drills to improve those areas.
We are fortunate to have a "World Class" coach in our back yard. Coach Andor and his team consistently have the best interest of the students in mind. He shows them fundamentals and life lessons while keeping it fun! His Passion and positivity reflect through the smiles and growing confidence of the kids. My girls are new to the sport but look forward to each practice with the dream of playing collegiate Volleyball.

Andor is a great motivator to his volley kids! Teaching volleyball and life skills. My daughter always leaves sessions with a smile. He also helped me out when our schedule was overbooked and my daughter couldn’t go to class… he gave more than expected to help us - without me even asking!
I cannot speak highly enough of St. John’s volleyball club and especially Coach Andor! Not only is he talented but he puts all of the players first!, he cares for their social emotional growth and basic life skills when competing in a sport.
