Volleyball Stein Stein Metzger – male player and coach
Stein Metzger was a 2004 Olympian, who won 16 time AVP tour and twice on the FIVB tour. Stein achieved team of the year 2005 and 2006 for the AVP Tour as well as won the Manhattan Beach Open Champion (The Wimbledon Of Volleyball) twice. He also earned a Silver Medal at the 2003 Beach Volleyball World Championships in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and recorded a fifth-place finish at the 2004 Olympic Summer Games in Athens, Greece. Stein best known for leading UCLA to 4 consecutive NCAA finals as a starting setting of which they won 3 championships and and was named the MVP his senior year. Stein is also a 2009 UCLA Hall of Fame Inductee.

Stein Metzger is the Current Head Coach of UCLA Women’s Sand Volleyball Program and in 2012 coached 66 Pro Beach Volleyball Players on the FIVB and USA Beach Volleyball Tours.
