Volleyball1on1 Video Analysis is a powerful tool that can dramatically improve your skills and technique. In additional to individual analysis volleyball1on1 also offers analysis of your team for you coaches out there looking for this.

Video Filming Tips for Players:

Use a tripod where possible and keep the camera position still with a wide angle shot that includes all movement.

Be aware of the best angles to film analysis and make sure that you perform at least 5 video examples of each skill you are looking to have reviewed.

The best angles to review each skill:

  • Passing / Serve Reception – Back View, Side View
  • Setting – Back View, Side View, Front View.
  • Spiking / Hitting – Back View, Side View, 45 Degrees
  • Serving – Back View, Side View
  • Blocking – Back View, Side View
  • Defense – Side View, Front view, 45 Degrees

So for example: Volleyball Video Analysis Review for Passing / Service Reception. Pass 5 serves filming the pass from the back view. Then move camera to the side and film 5 passes from the side view.

Create a YouTube account and post the Videos on YouTube.

  • Add a title – “Your Name” “Skill” Volleyball Video
  • In the description add: “Your name” – Volleyball Videos for Review on “Skill” –  https://volleyball1on1.com/
  • Please note all videos must have a title and description for us to review them.
  • Also be sure to add the http:// before www.volleyball1on1.com in the description.
  • If you do not wish to make the videos public save them as non public. (Non-Public means not viewable by the public unless they know the exact URL of the video.)
  • Copy and save the video URLs

Video Filming Tips for Coaches and Teams:

Use a tripod where possible and keep the camera position still with a wide angle shot that includes full court.

Be aware of the best angles to film is always from above and behind the court.

Also where possible do not switch sides, rather maintain the same side when the team rotates so that we can analyze your team play from both sides of the net.

For team analysis limit each video to 10 minutes or less. Also film continuously. Do not stop and start video action. Let us also see what happens between plays.

Film at least 20-30 minutes of game time.

Upload the Content to YouTube, limit to 10 minute segments.
