Topics Reviewed In This Coaches Clinic:
Topic 1 – Moving Your Program From “Good To Great”:
The process of going from “Good” to “Great” as a program is no accident. At Volleyball1on1 we believe many programs have gone from “Good” to “Great” by following a simple 6-step formula for achieving these results. In this session coaches will learn step-by-step and be guided through the 350-page Volleyball1on1 Coaches Manual on how to turn their program from good into “What Great Looks Like!” ® with our Volleyball1on1 repeatable superior coaching systems.
GREATNESS will apply in the wins and losses. In addition, it will help you develop players / people of character in your program which we define as “Whole Person Growth” and “It’s Bigger Than Volleyball” ™. High school coaches will learn how to develop excellent communicative, goal-setting, self-directed, critical thinking lifelong learners who thrive in competition and under pressure, who know how to work as individuals and / or with a team as a member or a leader while being fair and considering others.
Topic 2 – How To Teach Volleyball Skills Utilizing “Reading The Game”, “Slowing The Ball Down”, and “Dealing With Pressure Successfully” For Superior Results:
In the last 7 years the biggest change in coaching the sport of volleyball has been the concept of “Reading The Game.” Unfortunately, few coaches teach players how to perform each skill and take into account where, when, and how? to read in a manner that maximizes decision making while “Slowing The Ball / Game Down” and “Eliminating Pressure.”
This on-court session will review how high school coaches can teach each skill including serving, passing, setting, blocking, spiking, and defense from utilizing the tools of “Reading The Game” and “Slowing The Ball Down” along with seven techniques to help players eliminate pressure.
Topic 3 – Volleyball1on1 Vision Training Using Peak Performance OODA Loop Vision Training Posters To “Slow The Ball Down” & “Read The Game”:
Vision training exercises can help players of all ages improve their ability to “Read The Game,” “Slow Down The Ball & Game” and “Deal With Pressure”. The tools presented in this session represent over 6 years of Volleyball1on1 research on vision training and how to successfully utilize the Volleyball1on1 Vision Training poster.
High school coaches will learn in this session seven techniques to make the ball go in “slow motion” and how to provide these techniques successfully to their players.
Coaches will receive a Volleyball1on1 Vision Training Poster Set – 27” x 39” per poster – valued @ $99.00 & a 25-page Volleyball1on1 propriety detailed report written on vision training titled “Volleyball1on1 OODA Loop Vision Coaching Blueprint”.
Topic 4 – Volleyball1on1’s “Keep Playing Volleyball” Beach & Outdoor Program:
Beach Volleyball is one of the fastest growing sports in the United States. Players who play beach and outdoor volleyball have a significant advantage over players who only play indoor volleyball. Players who play beach and outdoor volleyball often grow a lifetime love for the sport and “Keep Playing” beyond high school and college.
High school coaches will learn in this session how to introduce 2-person beach volleyball into their program, including rules and basic instruction.
