Priscilla Lima started playing volleyball at the age of 15. Upon graduation she ranked fourth in career digs, fifth in kills and twice named all-conference with first-team honors her senior season. In 2004 she did not qualify for her first AVP tournament. Since she has qualified for every tournament and finished 2009 with the AVP Most Improved Player award and third in the season standings for the year. Lima’s rise has included finishes of ninth in 2005, fifth in 2007 and her first finals match in 2009 at Muskegon.

In 2006 she finished eighth in kills, 2007 tenth in blocks and 2009 knocked off the top seed at the Brooklyn Open. On the FIVB Lauren finished fourth in Phuket, Thailand and ninth in Klagenfurt after advancing from the qualifier for her highest Grand Slam finish.
