Hello, I am a new member and was wondering where I could find videos on how to read the block when hitting and also reading hitter when blocking.
Thanks
Payam
Hi Payman
Thanks for asking the question, firstly are you looking for info on beach or indoor? For Indoor their are some great videos on hitting by Mike Diehl as well as Logan Tom! For Beach I like Pricilla Lima Video on vision! Please let me know if this is helpful. Additionally we can film some thing that you are looking for! Just let us know?
Thanks

Tips on improving my oudtise hitting? (volleyball)?I play oudtise hitter on my 15 Nationals Molten volleyball team. My hitting has been pretty inconsistent lately. One day, I’ll get kill after kill, and the next, net after net. What are some tips for improving my hitting? I want answers from experienced volleyball players, preferably coaches or someone that has played on college or club for a while. Here is some information:- I’m fourteen years old.- I’m 5’7- I’m a high jumper, my vertical is about 22 .Oh yeah, and I know the formation, approach and basic steps (don’t get under the ball, follow through, snap your wrist, etc.) I just want to know any special tips that you have that help you.Thanks!(:<3-Michelle
I’ve been using the pro touch by molten for years, and have relaly grown to appreciate it’s play. However, I have a friend who coaches in the Philippines and he had early access to the new Mikasa used in the Olympics this past summer, and I love the new ball. It’s the same shape and size as all other balls, but it feels lighter, I don’t know how they did it but it’s relaly quite fun. Most people in the US aren’t familiar with the ball yet because it’s only used in international matches, but I expect the ball will make a dent in America soon. Plus, it looks relaly cool.
it would be nice to have videos on vision – how to track own team mates, when spiking (at which moment to look for block) & so on. Also about differences at indoor and outdoor (if there are any of course). Drills and tips would be also highly useful (although Lima & Logan mentions that, but there could be dedicated topic/serie on that
Hi Jurij,
Would you like us to film something on this for beach or indoor? If indoor what position, middle, outside, or opposite? Let me know?
Thanks
