Volleyball Passing Tips for Middles Explained

If you are like Seth, and you are primarily a middle blocker, then you tend to think passing is not exactly a priority in your training regimen. Seth thought the same way, as he played middle blocker for most of his indoor volleyball career. However, as soon as Seth made a transition to beach volleyball, he realized that he needed to brush up on his passing skills…and fast.

Passing is one of the most important skills you need to know when playing beach volleyball. As Seth will show you, there are key elements to becoming a skilled passer on the beach such as:

  • Starting with a good solid platform to direct the pass, get you arms as close together as you can
  • Having your arms locked out and together when you are in passing motion
  • focusing on solid footwork to compliment your platform

Seth takes you step by step through the basics of passing tips for middles in the video below available to members of volleyball1on1.com.
