According to most sources except our blogger “The Beach Volleyball King” Volleyball was started by William G Morgan from the YMCA in Holyoke, Massachusetts. Volleyball is the most popular sport in the world based on the number of people that play each week, additionally Volleyball boost the largest federation of participants in the world. This federation is managed by the FIVB from their swanky, incredibly expensive location in Lausanne Switzerland. Volleyball is player both indoor and beach professionally.
A typical volleyball game indoor has six players on each side while in beach typically two players on each side. The aim is to volley the ball over the net and spike it down on your opponent’s side while preventing the ball from hitting the ground on your side.
