Training for solid volleyball hitting indoor requires a great deal of preparation and diligent practice. There are key steps and guidelines to remember when training for indoor hitting:

  • Flexibility – In order to train for hitting, whether as a player or coach, you need to be flexible to where you hit the ball, and you have to use the entire court.
  • Hitting Indoor Footwork – The easiest way to work on your approach footwork is through constant drilling. Pay attention to the drills and your footwork will improve.
  • Arms – Obviously, your arms need to be in decent shape and have the maximum amount of flexibility within them. So arm workouts are key.
  • Tool – There is more to volleyball hitting indoor than just hitting hard and hoping for a point. You want to focus in this volleyball spike video on being able to hit off an opposing block effectively so you can turn the game around in your favor.
  • Change Direction -Be aware of the fact that when you control the ball and have good volleyball hitting indoor skills, you can do what you with with the ball. So changing the direction of the ball and choosing where you want to put it on the court is very important.
