Volleyball, do your homework explained
Doing your homework before a tournament is something that is effective for both players and coaches. Volleyball is not only a game of strength and power, it is a game of strategy and cunning. Knowing your opponent’s weaknesses and strengths will help give you that extra edge come tournament day.
Doing your homework allows you to study your opponent so you know what to expect. You can do this by searching the players names on the opposing teams on the internet and find out who they have played, beat, and who they have been training with to find out any valuable information that would give you an edge against them. When you get to the tournament you can also talk to the teams that previously faced them and ask them what they did to win or lose against that team. Just do your homework before a tournament, and it will at least give you a slight edge if not a tremendous one over your opponent.
In this video on doing your home work for members of volleyball1on1.com I take you step by step on what to do before a tournament.
