Al Scates
Hi, I’m Al Scates, UCLA men’s head volleyball coach for fifty years. In that time I’ve won a record 19 NCAA championships and nearly 1,200 wins. Some of the players and coaches I’ve worked with include Karch Kiraly, Sinjin Smith, John Speraw, Mike Sealy and Stein Metzger. With my videos you’ll see a full practice with my men’s squad and what to look for in early season practices. Also my insights on how the game has changed and adaptations I’ve made to rule changes through the years.
