Beach volleyball blocking, pulling angle takes an area of the court away from the hitter and channels the ball to the defender. By covering a specific part of the court limits where the hitter can go and makes you a defensive playing machine. Pulling into the angle like all other volleyball skills requires training and work.

In order to train for beach volleyball blocking, pulling angle as a player or coach you have to line up correctly in front of the hitter. My video training and drill series below will show you training methods I have developed and learned coaching at the highest level to help you become a better defender as a blocker.
1. Position – In this video, I talk about how to best line up against the hitter. Follow the hitter with your eyes and your hips, always be ready to take them on at a moments notice.
